Another Man’s Review is a writing exercise turned online magazine. The goal is to catch the beautiful spark of inspiration in a bottle.

We keep it simple:

1. We help writers who are trapped with dreaded writer’s block by urging them to pick up, find, or dig (wherever that may be) for an interesting object.
2. There is a story behind everything, and that little push of an object can cause a writer to create a one of a kind, thought provoking story behind that object.
3. WE WANT TO SEE THOSE STORIES!
4. To a young or established writer, the joy of seeing, “Congratulations” as the first word in an email from a literary magazine melts the heart and can be the difference for a future literary genius to continue their work.
5. We keep it short (1500 words max). That length gets the lightning in a bottle we so desire, but with a few name changes or setting flips, the author can continue pursuing that piece for a greater length.
6. We have fun…but we also want to strive for true emotion.We like to laugh at a whoopee cushion stowed away in the closet. Then we love to  scroll down and cry at a final memento money clip from a beloved elder.
